Hassle Free Sending 7 athletes to this week's Collegiate Nationals

Coming up this weekend in Shreveport, LA is the 2009 National Collegiate Championship. Hassle Free will once again be well represented with 7 athletes participating.

The women are led by Kari Shimomura lifting in the 69kg class and ranked second on the start list.

 

Also joining the women is Jessica West lifting in her first National Event, also in the 69kg class. Jessica is ranked 4th on the start list. Rounding out the women is Arlette Marenco fresh off a 6 for 6 performance at last month's Junior Nationals.

Four of the Hassle Free male lifters are making the trip to Shreveport this year. Lifting in the 85kg class is Keylin Mackey. Keylin finished second in March Junior Nationals and is ranked  fourth in the very competitive 85kg class. He'll be up against Olympian and LSU-Shreveport lifter Kendrick Farris.

Hassle Free has 3 lifters competing in the 105kg class led by Donovan Ford coming off a 320 total in the recent Junior Nationals. One of our most competitive Senior Lifters, Jonathan North, will be in Shreveport hoping to medal after an outstanding performance in last month's Pan Am qualifier in Foster City, CA.

 

Last but not least for the HF men is Ben Claridad representing Sacramento State and 7th on the 105kg start list.
